Software Engineer - Full Stack

Overview:
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team to develop product features that help customers to monitor and troubleshoot database problems. This role involves building full-stack features using Typescript, including the frontend and the REST API layer.

You will work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to develop product features and break down complex features into sprint tasks. You thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment with a “take-charge” attitude, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.

As a self-sufficient professional, you can work with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams across different time zones. You possess strong end-to-end development skills, working on metadata-driven products and end-to-end application engineering.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering or Computer Science, accompanied by over four years of relevant work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React.
  • Proficiency with server-side development in Node.js (e.g., Nest.js/Express.js).
  • Experience with TypeScript for both frontend and backend development.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Good understanding of:
    • Client-side state management, asynchronous tasks, and side effects.
    • REST architecture.
    • SPA (Single Page Application) approach.
    • Micro-frontend architecture.
    • Common software design patterns.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JestRTLCypress).
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub / Bitbucket.
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum framework.
 
Bonus Points For:
  • Experience in time-series databases like Druid or Elasticsearch.
  • Knowledge of various databases, including MSSQLOracle and MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with Observability/Dashboard tools, such as ELK StackGrafana, etc.
