Splunk has been selected as a winner at the 2019 IT-Awards by the tech publishing house Vogel Communications Group in Germany, which has 47,000 registered users and achieves over 2 million page impressions per month with several top business IT portals like BigData-Insider, CloudComputing-Insider, DataCenter-Insider, DevOps-Insider and Security-Insider. Readers, including CIOs, IT managers and developers awarded Splunk gold in the machine learning category when voting for their favorite IT companies in 43 different categories. Local customer references like Zeppelin have helped shape the image of Splunk as a machine learning leader in Germany. With the help of Splunk’s Machine Learning Toolkit, Zeppelin was able to design an anomaly detection model to predict future failures in spark plugs, the leading cause of power plant shutdowns.
