Senior Manager, Cloud Change 
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager to lead and evolve our Cloud Change Management function with a primary focus on the Cloud Change Advisory Board (CCAB) and comprehensive change governance. This role is critical in driving operational resilience, process excellence, and accountability across cloud change initiatives, while also overseeing Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) programs. The successful candidate will champion scalable change processes that enable rapid, reliable cloud service delivery and foster collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders.The ideal candidate must enjoy operations and have a genuine passion for change management.

 


Key Responsibilities 

  1. Cloud Change Management & CCAB Leadership
    1. Lead and continuously improve the Cloud Change Advisory Board (CCAB) processes to ensure effective governance, risk mitigation, and compliance for all cloud change activities.
    2. Drive the evolution of cloud change management frameworks to support increased change velocity without compromising service stability and accountability.
    3. Oversee the end-to-end change lifecycle, including change intake, risk assessment, approval, communication, and post-implementation review.
    4. Collaborate with engineering, operations, product, and security teams to align change management practices with organizational goals and cloud service requirements.
  2. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Oversight
    1. Manage the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to minimize operational risks and ensure high availability of cloud services.
    2. Oversee Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies to guarantee rapid restoration of critical systems and data during incidents.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement 
    1. Serve as a trusted advisor and liaison for leadership and cross-functional teams, providing transparency into change management and continuity program status.
    2. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across service owners, IT leads, and operational teams to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
  4. Process Optimization & Data-Driven Insights 
    1. Develop, refine, and standardize change management processes leveraging industry best practices and user feedback.
    2. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of change governance, BCP, and DR programs.
    3. Use data analytics to identify improvement opportunities and support strategic initiatives.
  5. Leadership & Team Development
    1. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Cloud Change team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
    2. Promote proactive risk management and resilience mindset within the team and broader organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in change management, program management, or operational risk management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Cloud Change Advisory Board (CCAB) governance and cloud change management frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) principles and practices.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs with multiple dependencies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Experience in process design, optimization, and implementation of standardized methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and metrics-driven reporting.
  • A passion for operations and change management is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Splunk Cloud or similar cloud platforms.
  • Advanced certifications such as ITIL, PMP, Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), or Change Management certifications.
  • Familiarity with automation tools, data integration, and advanced reporting platforms.
  • Track record of implementing scalable change management processes in fast-paced, evolving technology environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams.

Annual Base Pay: $257,400 - $302,500 USD
 
When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Applicants may not be eligible for the full salary range based on their U.S. or Canada hiring location. U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings.
 
Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday (for non-exempt employees), plus a day off for their birthday. Non-Exempt new hires accrue up to 16 days of vacation time off each year, at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period. Exempt new hires participate in Cisco’s flexible Vacation Time Off policy, which does not place a defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use but is subject to availability and some business limitations. All new hires are eligible for Sick Time Off subject to Cisco’s Sick Time Off Policy and will have eighty (80) hours of sick time off provided on their hire date and on January 1st of each year thereafter. Up to 80 hours of unused sick time will be carried forward from one calendar year to the next such that the maximum number of sick time hours an employee may have available is 160 hours. Employees in Illinois have a unique time off program designed specifically with local requirements in mind. All employees also have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community.
 
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
