Position Overview:  
   
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Regional Sales Manager, Mid-Market (m/f/d) to join our dynamic Mid-Market sales team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to kickstart or further develop their sales career in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

The successful candidate will focus on acquiring new customers in the Mid-Market segment. You will work closely with our Channel Partners to drive pipeline growth through joint marketing initiatives, events, and targeted outreach activities. Your role will be key in generating new business opportunities, qualifying leads, and contributing to the overall revenue growth in the region.

You will develop a deep understanding of customer needs, collaborate with internal teams, and help position Splunk as a trusted partner for digital resilience and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Meet/exceed assigned revenue goals while working with a Team of Systems Engineers, Business Development, Channel, Field Marketing and other members of your Splunk village.
  • You are the face to the customer and responsible for understanding the true pain points, orchestrating the virtual team and leading the project until successful closure.
  • You know how to work "smarter" not harder, use sales methodologies and celebrate even small wins with pride.  
  • Be responsible for the business by building and developing Channel Partner and End Customer relationships through personalized contact for Key Projects, understanding of account’s needs, and ability to communicate solution values of products and services 
  • Leading and Running sales campaigns and motions that build customer value and enable Multi-Year, Multi-Solution transactions. 
  • Accurately forecast opportunities based upon realistic assessments and consistently deliver against that forecast 
  • Support Channel Partners in crafting net new opportunities and expanding Splunk´s footprint with existing customer accounts. 
 
Requirements:
  • We need a hunting mentality – You are used to sell into 70% whitespace patches 
  • Experience within the software industry focused on Security and Cloud solutions
  • Knowledge and a good network into the Germany Channel Partner Community will be helpful
  • Strong competency in using social media and professional networks to understand your customer 
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment 
  • Virtuous knowledge of Salesforce would make your start much smoother 
  • Proven knowledge of MEDDICC helps to stay in control of your Key business 
  • Native German and fluent in English (both written and spoken)
