Responsibilities: 

  • Meet and exceed assigned revenue goals while collaborating effectively with a team of Systems Engineers, Business Development, Channel, Field Marketing, and other members of your Splunk village.
  • Serve as the primary customer interface, responsible for understanding true pain points, orchestrating the virtual team, and leading projects to successful closure.
  • Demonstrate an excellent ability to orchestrate efforts methodically between internal field teams and external partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution.
  • Be responsible for the business by building and developing account relationships through personalized contact, understanding of account's needs, and the ability to communicate solution values of products and services.
  • Lead and run sales campaigns and motions that build customer value and enable Multi-Year, Multi-Solution transactions.
  • Accurately forecast opportunities based upon realistic assessments and consistently deliver against that forecast, demonstrating a proven ability to close deals.
  • Support Channel Partners in crafting net new opportunities and expanding existing customer accounts.

Requirements: 

  • Experienced Sales professional with exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, driven by a strong will to win as part of a team.
  • Possess a strong Hunter mentality, with proven experience in cold calling into whitespace accounts and conducting thorough research for effective call preparation.
  • First-hand direct selling experience in the Swiss (German speaking) market.
  • A solid understanding of Security, Log Management, and Observability, including their implications for diverse customer environments.
  • Ability to learn, grow, and scale upwards with the company.
  • Native German and fluent in English.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; an MBA would be a significant plus
