Leader, Global Platform Specialists, GTM Strategy & Programs

We’re looking for a dynamic, execution-focused strategic thinker and results oriented leader to build and scale our long-term Platform go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Splunk’s Global Specialist Organization.
In this role, you’ll own the overall strategic execution plan for the go-to-market motions for Splunk Platform. You will collaborate cross-functionally to align on key goals and milestones. Strategically capitalize on Cisco’s global sales force to drive synergy and go-to-market evolution.

  • Product Aligned-GTM Strategy: Shape GTM strategy in partnership with Product teams, influencing pricing, packaging, and commercial models that leverage cross-portfolio synergies.
  • Go-To-Market Planning: Develop and define GTM motions, use case, and engagements to unlock value across Splunk’s core products by driving adoption of strategic motions
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Drive collaboration between Splunk’s Global Platform Specialists and Cisco’s global sales engine, partners, product marketing, and enablement to scale growth through joint GTM strategies and account coverage
  • Strategic Partner Engagement: Co-develop GTM plays and joint sales strategies with partner teams, and leverage incentive programs to grow partner-sourced and partner-led business
  • Lead alignment of Platform motions and use cases to Splunk’s Targeted Account Segmentation strategy to define priorities motions and engagement by account teams
  • Define goals and KPIs for the Platform Specialist organization as well as overall Platform GTM activity
  • Lead Platform Specialist Strategy and Programs team to drive successful product launches and GTM execution of core priorities and tenants of the Platform GTM plan
  • Influence planning and resource decisions to support strategic growth areas

What You Bring:

  • 8+ years in Sales and Channel/GTM Strategy, or Sales leadership in B2B software
  • Proven experience scaling teams in a matrixed sales environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, collaborating effectively with senior leaders (CROs, VPs, etc.)
  • Strategic thinker and doer—comfortable with ambiguity and driving clarity
  • Data-driven decision maker, applying sales analytics to inform strategy
  • Ability to execute and adapt strategies in a fast-evolving market, especially with product and integration evolution
  • Bonus: Experience in post-acquisition integration and/or high-growth environments.
