We are currently seeking a highly passionate Inside Sales Representative (m/f/d) to support our Strategic Sales Team in Germany.

There is a defined growth path for successful Inside Sales Representatives to be promoted throughout the sales organisation and other similar roles and marketing functions.


Responsibilities: 

In this role, you will showcase the ability to focus on an organisation’s initiatives, challenges, pain points and partner with an ecosystem of elite Strategic Sales, technical and operational partners. to bring value to those organisations through our sales process. You will: 
  • Develop and grow strategic pipeline by engaging high-value DAX and enterprise customers through prospecting and demand-generation tools
  • Discover and qualify opportunities across new accounts and business units, utilising sales methodologies like SPIN Selling and MEDDPICC
  • Build trust and credibility with key decision-makers by deeply understanding their challenges and mapping them to Splunk’s solutions
  • Research and present account intelligence that helps shape strategic outreach
  • Be an integral part of the internal Account Teams, helping drive C-level engagement, adoption and overall customer satisfaction
  • Leverage tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism, TechTarget and Salesforce to fuel your outreach
  • Collaborate with world-class teammates across sales, marketing, and solutions engineering
  • Own your success, with a clear career path into field sales, marketing, or other customer-facing roles
  • Work from the Splunk/Cisco office in Garching minimum 2 days in the week and travel occasionally for business

What It Takes to Be Successful in This Role:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in selling or generating demand for enterprise IT solutions (BI, data analytics, security software, risk management software or similar)
  • Experience within DAX customers OR genuine interest to understand the specifics of German DAX organisations
  • Native German and fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • An ability to analyse business data to tell a compelling and actionable story
  • An ability to utilise prospecting tools like LinkedIn Sales Nav, Cognism, TechTarget, etc.
  • CRM knowledge (Salesforce is a plus)
  • Self-motivation and relentless in pursuit of creating their own success
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • High energy and contagious optimism
  • Confidence in handling of objections and conflict
  • Task prioritization, discipline, and accountability
  • A strong executive presence, with polish and dedication to customer outcomes
