Are you a passionate sales leader who encourages teams, scales organizations, and drives groundbreaking growth? Splunk is seeking an accomplished Area Vice President of Sales to lead our Greater China business. Based in Hong Kong, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating revenue, strengthening our market presence, and crafting our brand across Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. 
 
A highly visible leadership role that requires a track record of exceeding enterprise revenue goals, building trusted C-suite relationships, and leading high-performing teams in complex, fast-growth markets.

What You’ll Do
 
  • Own and deliver license, support, and services revenue across Greater China. 
  • Compose and implement regional go-to-market and branding strategies in partnership with Marketing. 
  • Build deep C-suite and ecosystem relationships that expand deal size, accelerate adoption, and increase customer value. 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop an extraordinary sales team; act as both strategist and player-coach. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product to drive customer outcomes. 
  • Provide timely market insights to influence global strategy, product priorities, and brand positioning. 
  • Represent Splunk as an inspiring leader at industry events and forums. 
 
What We’re Looking For 
  • 10+ years’ enterprise sales leadership experience across the region, with shown success in direct and channel selling. 
  • Validated experience in building, scaling, and encouraging high-performing sales teams; second-line management preferred. 
  • Consistent success in closing six- and seven-figure enterprise software deals with large global and regional enterprises. 
  • Strong executive presence, polished communication, and the ability to influence at the boardroom level. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build regional marketing and branding strategies that drive demand and market visibility. 
  • Expert in forecasting accuracy, strategic account planning, and negotiating complex commercial agreements. 
  • Consistent record to hire top talent, develop future leaders, and cultivate a high-performance culture. 
  • Hands-on, collaborative leadership style with experience working cross-functionally and globally. 
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise IT systems, security, or infrastructure management markets. 
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and data-driven decision making.
