The Splunk Training Donation Program

Your organization's membership in Splunk’s Product and Training Donation Program includes access to selected Splunk training and industry-recognized Splunk certifications at no cost to faculty, students and IT staff at Universities, Non-Profits, and Research organizations. 

Your journey starts with access to the Foundational courses to learn about the Splunk platform and how to use it. Start with the eLearning with labs courses in the Knowledge Manager and Search Expert learning paths. Upon completion of the Foundational courses, advance your skills by enrolling in Networking (via Cisco Networking Academy) and Security courses.

You will have access to the videos for 12 months. Additionally, eLearning offerings with labs will allow you to access the labs up to three times over the 12-month period. Each lab access lasts 4 hours.

You must follow the links for each individual course you are interested in to start training at no charge. We recommend taking courses in the order in which they are listed, but there are no hard prerequisites. You can jump directly to the course you need!

Registration Steps

1. Create your STEP/splunk.com account. If you already have an active splunk.com account, go to step 3.
2. Watch for an email from Splunk for verification and to validate your profile. Please check your spam folder if you don’t receive the verification email. You may need to allow up to 48 hours for account creation. If you have issues creating your profile, call Splunk Support. Use the “Call Support” button to call right from your web browser! 
3. Once your account has been activated, register for the desired training using the links in the table below. Want to register for every class in the “Foundation – Platform” in one click? Check out the learning path!
   • Click the “Enroll” button to check out immediately. Otherwise, use the down arrow to select "Add to Cart" and continue shopping.
   • Select "Check Out" when ready.
