Solutions Engineer (Turkey)

What you will do

As a Solutions Engineer at Splunk, you’ll be the trusted technical advisor to our customers. You’ll help organizations understand the value of their data, develop their digital transformation journey, and demonstrate how Splunk drives impact across industries.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver clear, compelling presentations that speak to both business value and technical depth.
  • Showcase Splunk solutions to prospects in person, remotely, and at industry events.
  • Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) projects that highlight measurable customer success.
  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs with concise and persuasive technical content.
  • Address technical and competitive questions plus address customer concerns to a successful outcome.
  • Develop presales materials such as ROI models, competitive analyses, and business cases.
  • Collaborate with sales and presales teams to continually improve processes, guidelines, and methodologies.

Who you are

Minimum qualifications:
  • 3+ years of presales or solutions engineering experience with an enterprise software vendor.
  • Proven knowledge of the Turkish enterprise customer landscape.
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Big Data, Security, Application Performance Management, Operational Intelligence, or Business Intelligence/Web Analytics.
  • Proficient in English and Turkish, both written and spoken.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with UNIX (HP-UX, Solaris, AIX), Linux, and Windows.
  • Experience working with application environments and machine data sources (logs, security, network, and performance data).
  • Experience developing ROI models and customer value cases.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Familiarity with financial services, insurance, telecom, or retail industries.
  • Knowledge of log management and analysis tools.
  • Exposure to web development technologies such as XML, HTML5, JavaScript, Java, .NET, or Ruby.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complexity and build trust with customers.
