GSI/MSP Lead – India

This role will collaborate closely with regional and theater leaders to drive initiatives with Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) that grow their Splunk business in India. The successful candidate will:
  • Set the overall GSI and MSP partnership strategy for India and own annual planning, including joint investments and execution plans.
  • Manage and build relationships with key GSI stakeholders to drive partner-influenced Splunk revenue.
  • Own the MSP strategy and execution for India, helping to recruit and scale MSP partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop & Execute Joint Co-Selling Strategies
    • Create and execute joint go-to-market strategies with GSIs to address customer challenges in industries like BFSI, IT/ITeS, telecom, and manufacturing.
    • Incorporate an MSP-focused sales motion into GSI-led opportunities to expand market reach and revenue streams.
  2. Build & Nurture GSI Relationships
    • Establish new partnerships and strengthen relationships with leading GSIs such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, working from the ground up to cultivate trust and mutual investments with GSI leaders.
  3. Annual Partnership Planning
    • Lead the annual joint planning process with GSI partners, setting objectives, identifying target customers, outlining pipeline goals, and defining execution timelines.
    • Ensure joint investments in initiatives like practice creation, Center of Excellence (CoE) development, and solution acceleration are allocated effectively.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with Splunk’s sales engineering and product teams to evangelize Splunk’s offerings within GSI and MSP practices.
    • Partner with sales leadership to ensure account alignment and foster cooperative relationships with GSIand MSP technology and security teams.
  5. Pipeline Ownership & MSP Expansion
    • Drive the India pipeline with GSIs and MSPs, leveraging Splunk’s platform to achieve shared growth objectives.
    • Enable GSI and MSP partners with tools and resources to champion Splunk solutions effectively.

What You’ll Bring to the Role
  • 8+ years of experience building alliances with GSIs, including co-marketing, joint investments, practice creation, CoE development, joint sales planning, and pipeline development, with a specific focus on the India market.
  • Strong connections and recent experience working with Indian GSIs, particularly in the cybersecurity or cloud domains.
  • Demonstrated success co-selling with GSIs into large enterprise customers (Global 2000 or major Indian conglomerates), preferably with a focus on managed services (MSP) offerings.
  • Proven track record as a builder, able to establish and grow strategic partnerships from the ground up, particularly in the Indian GSI ecosystem.
  • Existing relationships with key GSI stakeholders in India that can be leveraged to accelerate Splunk’s expansion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders within both Splunk and partner organizations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience driving partner enablement programs, including training, certifications, and joint solution development.
  • Familiarity with the IT/ITeS sector, with an understanding of key trends, customer needs, and regulatory considerations in India.
  • A background in enterprise technology (e.g., cybersecurity, cloud, or data analytics) and experience working with large Indian enterprises.
