Regional Sales Manager - SLED (City of LA / LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games)

We are looking for a ground-breaking Enterprise Software Sales representative to focus on State and local government SaaS sales in the West Region. You will have validated sales experience in this vertical with a terrific reputation for overachieving quota while focusing on the customer. You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and complete a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.
You are a strong and creative thinker who thrives in a team environment and embraces all aspects of selling. You should be able to work in dynamic, dynamic environment and have very strong communication skills.

What you'll get to do

  • You will identify, qualify and close new opportunities in our fast-growing market and lead engagement and growth opportunities associated with the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
  • You will be a direct contributor aligned with an engineer and an inside sales representative. All transactions are fulfilled through the channel by authorized partners, as such your ability to work with and leverage channel and alliance partners is important.
  • Your ability to succeed in this role will require strong drive, as well as the application of advanced technical/business skills.

Must-have Qualifications

    • 8 years of sales experience in Public Sector
    • At least 3 years of experience selling to the City of LA and/or State of CA
    • Strong relationships to engage with key LA28 stakeholders, sponsors, technology providers, government agencies, and other influential organizations.
    • Proven track record of sales performance and knowledge of Public Sector

    Note:

    OTE Pay Ranges

    For sales roles the ranges are expressed as On Target Earning or OTE (OTE = base + incentives in the form of sales incentive plans).

    SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

    On Target Earnings: $248,000.00 - 341,000.00 per year

    California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), New York (excludes NYC Metro Area), and all other states.

    On Target Earnings: $244,000.00 - 335,500.00 per year

    Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the On Target Earnings (OTE) range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the OTE pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to OTE, this role may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
