The Opportunity
The GVP, Professional Services (PS) is a transformational leader who will focus on leading the combined APAC and Public Sector delivery team.
Overview
This leader will need to execute against a plan that delivers customer success, meets or exceeds financial targets, works in partnership with the Professional Services leadership team, owns the APAC & PBST P&L and expands adoption of Splunk products, offerings and use cases further in our customers’ ecosystems.
Responsibilities
  • Directs management and leadership of the APAC & PBST PS delivery team to include recruiting/hiring, development, and performance management.
  • Responsible for full financial management and reporting of the APAC & PBST PS P&L. Works closely with Finance counterparts.
  • Promotes services offerings for PS delivery.
  • Meeting organizational goals and managing customer success, revenue/expense targets, utilization, and services attach rates.
  • Develop and promote best practices within the team fostering quality and ultimately customer success on every engagement.
  • Responsible for employee engagement to drive exceptional customer experience within APAC & PBST PS services.
  • Drive strong collaboration in a matrixed environment to develop a high quality and scalable ecosystem (partners) that embrace Splunk’s core values around customer success enhancing our delivery capacity and enabling partners to deliver Splunk services independently.
  • Work proactively with sales and partners on large opportunities, helping to position service delivery and best practice to deliver security solutions.
  • Partner with all Customer Success leaders to drive exceptional customer outcomes across the customer journey, leading to customer value realization and ultimately, renewal.
  • Culture creator and change agent in the services functional team building arena
Requirements
  • 12 + years’ experience in Professional Services or related fields with deep expertise and understanding of the APAC region.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in CS or relevant technical field experience plus a minimum of 10 years of related PS leadership experience.
  • Experience leading teams and being responsible at a VP level.
  • Familiarity with Cloud based deployments.
  • Experience working with Customer Success leaders to drive post sales adoption.
  • Travel is required up to 50%, possibly more at peak times.

Base Pay Range

Singapore

Base Pay: SGD 332,800.00 - 457,600.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
