Global Partner Programs Manager

Role Summary

Splunk is seeking a Global Partner Programs Manager to lead the development and management of revenue-generating partner programs, with a focus on supporting and optimizing sales motions across the global partner ecosystem. In this critical role, you will work cross-functionally to build programs that drive sales growth, improve partner engagement, and align with Splunk’s overall sales strategy. You will bring expertise in partner program design, strong business sense, and an understanding of how to align sales efforts with partner success.

What you'll get to do

  • Sales Motion Programs: Develop, manage, and optimize partner programs specifically crafted to support sales motions, ensuring that partners are enabled and motivated to generate revenue with Splunk solutions.
  • Program Design & Execution: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and partner teams to create scalable, measurable programs that advance partner success in go-to-market strategies, including solution selling, co-selling, and joint marketing efforts.
  • Revenue Growth: Focus on crafting programs that help Splunk and its partners achieve key revenue goals, including identifying and removing obstacles to sales success and accelerating sales cycles through partner engagement.
  • Partner Enablement & Training: Ensure partners have the tools, training, and resources to effectively sell and position Splunk’s offerings. Collaborate with sales enablement teams to design targeted sales training materials and certification programs.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Establish program metrics and regularly analyze performance data to measure the efficiency of partner programs, adjusting when needed to improve outcomes and return on investment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with regional sales teams, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on partner strategies and program execution.
  • Partner Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with Splunk’s global partner network, encouraging collaboration and supporting partners in their sales efforts.
  • Global Alignment & Localization: Ensure consistency in global programs while considering local market needs and adapting programs to meet the unique requirements of different regions.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in partner programs, channel management, or sales enablement, preferably in the technology or software sector.
  • Sales Motion Expertise: A deep understanding of sales motions, partner ecosystems, and the role of partners in driving revenue growth.
  • Program Management Skills: Proven track record of developing, implementing, and scaling partner programs with measurable impact on revenue and partner engagement.
  • Analytical Approach: Strong ability to analyze program performance, leverage data to make informed decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage collaborators at all levels, both internally and externally. Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and technical teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

Note:

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $132,000.00 - 181,500.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $118,800.00 - 163,350.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $105,600.00 - 145,200.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
