Splunk for Academic Instruction
Faculty and staff from not-for-profit academic institutions are encouraged to apply for the Splunk Academic Alliance program. The program includes a 10GB, 1-year renewable license for Splunk Enterprise, access to Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) and Security Orchestration, Automation & Response (SOAR) Community Edition, and learning paths and certifications in Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Security, and Cisco Networking—all at no cost.
To qualify, your organization must meet the following criteria:
- Be a US-based 501c3 or
- Certified international charity or
- Public or private not-for-profit institution of higher education
- Agree to Splunk’s Nonprofit Eligibility Criteria*
It is also necessary that you sign up and create a Splunk.com account. Not only will your Splunk account grant you access to all the Academic Alliance program benefits, but offers access to powerful operational intelligence, enabling real-time insights into your IT systems and infrastructure, along with free trials, community-driven Splunkbase apps, and a wealth of support resources.
If you don't qualify for our Splunk Product and Training Donation Program, you may still download and install Splunk software for free and start analyzing data in minutes.
*All fields are required unless noted. This form must be completed by an official of the organization. You MUST enter a valid physical mailing address (no PO Boxes) to be eligible.
