Join us for a Boss of the NOC (BOTN) – “Scenario Zero” hosted by Splunk. Learn Splunk skills using real data in a self-paced, yet competitive environment. Based on the same gaming mindset as our BOTN and BOTS offerings, you will be presented with a series of Splunk problems you'll need to answer—earning points in the process. The player with the highest number of points at the end wins and of course becomes the Boss of the NOC!

If you’re familiar with the original BOTS or BOTN, you’ll find this event slightly different. The big difference is that no prior knowledge of Splunk is required to compete (though it will help). BOTN Scenario Zero allows you to learn about Splunk as you go.

Event Agenda

Each event will be an independent, virtual, worldwide competition that will run approximately 72 hours, though it should take you no more than 3-4 hours to complete.

A kick off call of approximately one hour at the start of the event will be held virtually to provide you with all you need to know to be successful. Live support will be available if you have questions for the remainder following the kick off.  Virtual support will be available via Slack and email should you have any questions.

Winners will be announced following each event.

For any questions about this competition, feel free to contact the BOTN Team.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
