SAN FRANCISCO – November 9, 2015 – Splunk Inc. (NASDAQ: SPLK), provider of the leading software platform for real-time Operational Intelligence, today announced Snehal Antani, chief technology officer, Splunk, has been named as a 2016 Premier 100 Technology Leader by IDG’s Computerworld. This year’s Premier 100 spotlights 100 leaders from both the technology and business sides of organizations for their exceptional technology leadership and innovative approaches to business challenges.

“This award is a testament to Snehal’s ability to look at a situation holistically and connect IT and business goals across the organization,” said Godfrey Sullivan, Chairman and CEO, Splunk. “While still early in his career at Splunk, he has already had a major impact on Splunk’s strategy and how our customers leverage our disruptive technology.”

“The Premier 100 awards program showcases the strategic thinking of an elite group of IT leaders who are using technology to digitally transform their organizations,” said Scot Finnie, editor-in-chief, Computerworld. “These 100 men and women are working hand in hand with their business colleagues to give their organizations a competitive edge, while giving their employees a place to grow their careers. We're pleased to recognize their leadership and honor their achievements.”

Antani is responsible for the long-term vision for Splunk technology across Splunk’s rapidly growing product lines. Antani is also in charge of the business analytics and IoT market groups. Prior to joining Splunk, Antani served as CIO for multiple divisions of GE Capital, where he was responsible for driving business transformation through IT and developing new products and disruptive ideas for competitive advantage.

The Premier 100 awards ceremony will be one of the highlights of the AGENDA16 Conference held March 21-23, 2016, at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort, Amelia Island, Florida. The conference, to be attended by more than 300 influential business and senior IT executives, will focus on building the digital business. About the Premier 100 Technology Leadership Awards

The Premier 100 program was created in 2000 to spotlight individuals who have had a positive impact on their organizations through technology. These are individuals who manage internal IT organizations, mentor and motivate their IT teams and business colleagues, create a positive work environment, envision innovative solutions to business challenges and effectively manage and execute IT strategies. Each year nominees are invited to complete a survey that addresses a number of topics, including their background and experience and their attitude toward risk and innovation. Using Computerworld’s IT Leader Index, which is a measurement of how closely an individual matches our definition of the IT Leader, we analyze the data. Each year, 100 honorees are selected to receive this lifetime recognition award.
