Marva joined Splunk in 2014 to build the Southeast region. Utilizing best practices to expand and scale, she was appointed to be an internal advisor, bringing a sales/customer lens to critical customer-facing programs to increase the business acumen of the field sales teams in the areas of C-suite selling. She is an executive coach for onboarding new leaders to keep up with the influx of new talent, and an active leader in mentoring, Splunk4Good, Women in Tech and other internal and external executive customer advocacy and leadership organizations. Prior to Splunk she held leadership roles at IBM focused on creating new markets with industry vertical specialization; and as a retained executive from San-Francisco based Micromuse where she held several executive roles including General Manager for the Federal division. She holds a B.A. from the University of Maryland in Communications, and a M. S. The John’s Hopkin’s Carey School of Business, Organizational Development and Change Management.
