Carrie Palin is Splunk’s Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Carrie leads Splunk’s marketing strategy with a keen understanding of the customer thanks to twenty-plus years of experience working across high tech and cloud. Before joining Splunk in 2019, Carrie was Chief Marketing Officer at both SendGrid (acquired by Twilio) and Box, Vice President of Marketing for IBM’s cloud data services and analytics software division, and held positions across the spectrum of marketing in a 15-year career at Dell. With her experience in marketing cloud solutions, Carrie is able to showcase the value of the Data-to-Everything Platform in a way that resonates with Splunk customers. She’s passionate about putting people first, she challenges her team to take a balanced approach to work and life to ensure mental wellness, and she dedicates time to supporting underrepresented groups such as Women in Tech and Pride organizations. Carrie earned a B.S. from Texas Christian University.
