Introducing Splunk Victoria Experience on Google Cloud: Faster, Clearer, More Resilient

Partners Alexey Bokov

At .conf25, we announced that Splunk Victoria Experience (VE) was coming to Google Cloud and shared our vision for a more modern, cloud-optimized Splunk experience.

Today, we’re excited to officially deliver on that promise: Splunk VE is now available on Google Cloud, giving organizations and admins a more transparent, responsive, and flexible Splunk Cloud Platform experience.

But VE on Google Cloud represents more than a new architecture. It is the next step in a shared roadmap shaped by deep engineering collaboration, sustained investment, and ongoing customer-driven innovation.

“Bringing Splunk Victoria Experience to Google Cloud is the next milestone in our ongoing partnership and our commitment to digital resiliency. Victoria Experience will help Splunk admins to remove friction, surface insights more clearly, and make the Splunk experience more powerful for everyone.” — Brad Murphy, VP of Platform Engineering at Splunk, a Cisco company

Why Splunk VE on Google Cloud Matters

The Splunk and Google Cloud partnership is about helping customers achieve digital resilience in a world where systems, data, and teams are more distributed than ever. Splunk VE supports our goal through a more modern, cloud-native experience. One Splunk customer that used the Alpha release had this to say, “After switching to VE our team gained immediate value, especially with the self-service capabilities and ability to use new Splunk features right away.”

Greater Visibility and Transparency: VE enhances the administrative experience with clearer insights into environment status, upcoming changes, app activity, and system health.

Self-Service Admin Experience: With VE, customers can now install and manage Splunkbase apps directly without opening Splunk support tickets and waiting. This means you can use your favorite Splunk apps now and move with cloud-level agility.

Faster Access to New Features: The new architecture enables faster and more consistent feature delivery so that Google Cloud customers gain access to the latest Splunk innovations sooner, with fewer dependencies.

Performance and Elasticity Built for the Cloud: Customers rely on Splunk for real-time insights, response, and analytics. VE strengthens this with a modern, cloud-native foundation that supports faster, easier scaling and better performance during search-intensive periods, spikes, or episodic workloads.

Increased Service Resiliency and Reduced Disruption: VE delivers fewer and faster maintenance windows, resulting in improved reliability with minimal operational impact. Splunk manages updates and backend operations—combined with clearer communication so customers always know what to expect.

The Next Generation of Security and Observability on Google Cloud

Customers running Splunk on Google Cloud can now adopt VE for a more streamlined, cloud-native experience that scales with their business. Whether you’re optimizing SecOps operations, strengthening observability on Google Cloud, or advancing a broader cloud strategy, VE delivers the clarity, flexibility, and reliability needed to stay ahead.

Splunk gives you a clear, unified view across your entire environment, including Google Cloud and Google Workspace infrastructure, apps, and experiences. With Splunk on Google Cloud you can:

A Milestone in a Growing Partnership

Splunk and Google Cloud continue to invest heavily in delivering a unified, modern experience for customers—and VE is just one part of our broader roadmap.

This week, Splunk and Google Cloud are together at Black Hat Middle East and Africa in Saudi Arabia, meeting with customers to discuss digital resilience and the future of cloud-powered security. This region is important for both organizations, and we’re pleased to share additional news: Splunk Cloud is now available in the new Google Cloud KSA Region.

This means customers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia can now run Splunk while meeting regional compliance requirements—while also benefiting from reduced latency and improved performance by keeping Splunk close to their data.
