Additionally, she focuses on how university recruiting plays a critical role in achieving a diverse and inclusive environment and co-leads the planning some of Splunk's major diversity initiatives. Katia is a member of Splunk’s Women in Technology group and sits on the D&I counsel.

Splunk for Splunkterns: The Summer 2021 Winning Team
This summer's Splunk for Splunkterns competition was one for the books – 18 teams researched different social issues from food insecurity to sustainability, but only one could be named the summer 2021 winner.

Data Can Change the World: Splunk for Splunkterns
This summer, the Early Talent team partnered with Splunk for Good and the Splunk Education Ecosystem team to host the annual Splunk for Splunkterns competition. We had an all-time high of 18 teams and over 90 Splunkterns participate. The teams were asked to use Splunk to find data on social issues they are passionate about.
