On behalf of the entire Splunk team, I’m proud to share that Splunk has been named a 2025 Microsoft Americas Partner of the Year Finalist in the Software Development Company (SDC) award category. Since forming our strategic partnership with Microsoft in 2023, our shared focus has been on helping customers build greater digital resilience. This award is a true testament to what we’ve accomplished together in just the first two years.
“We’re honored to be recognized by Microsoft for the success we’ve achieved together. This award underscores the strength of our collaboration and the value we’re delivering to customers through co-innovation, joint go-to-market efforts, and a shared commitment to digital resilience in the AI era.” – Renaud Bizet, VP Marketing, Splunk
Each year, the Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognize partners that demonstrate excellence in innovation and implementation of Microsoft-based solutions that deliver real customer impact. Splunk won because of our proven ability to co-develop and co-sell with Microsoft, execute against a shared Splunk on Azure roadmap, and deliver groundbreaking, measurable results for customers that create greater visibility, security, and resilience across their digital environments.
If you’re not familiar with the Splunk–Microsoft partnership, here’s a quick look at what we’ve achieved. At Microsoft Ignite 2024, Splunk announced that Splunk Cloud Platform, Splunk Enterprise Security, and Splunk IT Service Intelligence became available as native Azure solutions—the result of deep co-engineering with Microsoft to create purpose-built architectures optimized for Azure performance and hybrid interoperability. These solutions are also available in the Azure Marketplace and are “MACC eligible”, allowing customers to use existing Azure commitments to purchase Splunk.
Building on that momentum, we expanded our joint roadmap with the launch of Splunk SOAR on Azure and Splunk ARI, empowering customers to further automate and secure their operations within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Looking ahead, I’m most excited about the future of our AI-powered security and observability solutions, including the recent development of the Microsoft Security Copilot for Splunk and Splunk AI Assistant. These advancements—along with new enterprise cloud capabilities for high-compliance use cases, cross-region disaster recovery, and federated search across external data lakes—begin to revolutionize resilience for AI, and with AI.
There’s no better way to see why Splunk is a Finalist for the 2025 Microsoft Americas Partner of the Year than by experiencing Splunk on Azure in action at Microsoft Ignite. If you’re heading to San Francisco to attend in person, be sure to stop by the Cisco booth, where Splunk will be featured. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with Splunk and Microsoft experts and see our Azure-native solutions in action.
Whether you’re joining Ignite virtually or in person, don’t miss our session, Unified Digital Resilience: Cisco & Microsoft Better Together (#BRK483) happening on Thursday, November 20th at 2:15pm, for a deeper look at how Splunk, a Cisco company and Microsoft deliver unified digital resilience by integrating visibility, security, automation, and AI-driven insights on Microsoft Azure.
This award and these achievements wouldn’t be possible without the incredible teams at Splunk and Microsoft—and most importantly, you, our customers who trust us to help build a safer, more resilient digital world. Thank you for being part of this journey. We look forward to celebrating with you at Microsoft Ignite.
