Craig Bates is Vice President of Australia and New Zealand at Splunk, where he leads the company's go-to-market teams working with clients to achieve security and resilience with the Splunk platform.  

Craig’s career spans more than two decades, and he has worked with some of Australia's and the world’s most innovative and fastest growing technology companies including Salesforce, Microsoft and Oracle. Before joining Splunk as Vice President, Craig spent six years with Microsoft as a Director and Branch Leader.

Craig is passionate about building and leading teams that enable people to do their most impactful work and delivering transformative success for customers through technology. He values the impact of diverse teams and is a leader of Splunk’s Neurodiversity Employee Resource Group.

With further studies, Craig holds a Master of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School’s Executive Program. Craig’s leadership experience continues to help him excel in scaling teams and leading change in a fast-paced industry.
