As Sr. Director of AI & Security at Cisco, he drives the enterprise-wide strategy to safeguard AI, building on a career of industry-shaping impact. He previously defined the technical roadmap for AI risk management as CTO of Robust Intelligence and helped establish the foundations of AI safety as a founding member of Microsoft’s AI Red Team. The co-author of Not With A Bug, But With A Sticker, Hyrum holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington.
