If you have questions, start at Splunk Answers! Splunk Answers is a peer-to-peer platform where answers are accepted as solutions by the user.

We have a range of experts, from MVP users to the SplunkTrust, answering questions and moderating that only correct technical content is accepted as solutions.

The Karma system rewards members for their contributions and engagement. This section is also structured into various categories and boards dedicated to topics such as Security, IT Operations, DevOps, and Splunk Tech Talks and the topics are further organized using labels and tags.

Community Blogs

Community Blogs are where the Splunk community comes together to share real-world stories, product tips, and best practices. Authored by Splunk employees and selected expert users, these blogs offer practical guidance and behind-the-scenes knowledge, all designed to help you get more out of Splunk.

One of the cornerstone programs within the community is the SplunkTrust & MVP. This group of Splunk enthusiasts are specially recognized for their expertise and contribution to the community.

The SplunkTrust program honors the most engaged and passionate community members, those who consistently contribute knowledge and support to others. SplunkTrust members are mentors and leaders who help users get the most out of Splunk by sharing best practices and offering expert advice.

Want to become a SplunkTrust member? Here’s what to know:

• Applications for SplunkTrust open once a year. You can nominate yourself, or be nominated by other SplunkTrust members, users, or employees. This nomination process ensures that those selected are truly dedicated to helping others and embody the core values of the community.
• Becoming a SplunkTrust member comes with special recognition, a signature fez badge, free passes to .conf, our annual user conference, and exclusive swag throughout the year. Most importantly, it’s about being part of a group that sets the tone for mentorship and excellence across the Splunk community.

Splunk MVP

Splunk MVPs are a close-knit group of Splunk enthusiasts who make a difference by sharing product feedback, providing program insights, and offering assistance to community members worldwide. They are recognized for their consistent, high-quality contributions and their willingness to help others

If you are an active and consistent contributor to the community, the Splunk team reviews your participation at the end of each year. Those who stand out for quality and impact are selected as MVPs and receive a special MVP badge as recognition.

User Groups

A vibrant community thrives on real connections and shared experiences. Splunk User Groups are a key part of this, bringing Splunk enthusiasts together to learn, share, and grow, both in person and virtually.

Splunk User Groups are local and regional communities where users gather to share knowledge, discuss best practices, and connect over their shared passion for Splunk. With more than 130 user groups worldwide, there’s a place for everyone to find support and inspiration no matter where they are.

User Groups are founded by passionate community leaders, users just like you, who want to bring people together. Each group is run collaboratively by these dedicated users, often with support from a Splunk employee to help coordinate activities and provide resources.
