Unlocking Possibilities: How Customers Use Splunk for Security and IT Success

When we asked a variety of our customers that spoke to us at .conf25 about how they are using Splunk within their security and IT environments, we heard an array of responses to this question. Many customers are using Splunk for incident response and investigations across their enterprise security environments to provide in-depth information on threat intelligence to help find vulnerabilities that can lead to data breaches and cybersecurity threats. They are using Splunk within their SOCs to keep their organizations secure and resilient in an ever-changing threat landscape. Within IT environments, customers expressed the similar experiences in using Splunk to help aggregate data from different sources and monitor these through applications across their IT infrastructure to determine what is going on in their environments.

With Splunk there are endless possibilities and use cases for customers to utilize across their environments, but the one common theme that we heard over and over again is that this is what makes Splunk so valuable to their organizations. It can be what our customers are looking for as well as, used in new and unexpected ways. The power of Splunk is in the hands of our customers and they use this to their advantage every day.
