Jonathan Heckinger

Jonathan Heckinger is the Director of Threat Detection at Splunk, a Cisco company. He has nearly two decades of experience building and scaling security programs for government and enterprise organizations. Heckinger served 11 years as a Cybersecurity Operations Officer in the U.S. Air Force, securing critical Department of Defense networks. He later built and led the first security operations center for classified cloud services at a major provider and now leads Splunk’s Detection Engineering team.
