Opening New Doors at .conf25 with Victoria Experience on Google Cloud
Splunk .conf25 has officially started and the energy across Boston is buzzing. Everyone’s getting ready for tonight’s keynote to catch all the announcements, see exciting demos, and hear powerful customer stories. But one of those doesn’t need to wait until tonight…
Splunk and Google Cloud: The Next Chapter at .conf25
We’ve been partnering with Google Cloud since 2020, creating native integrations with Google Cloud services and making Splunk available as a SaaS offering in the Google Cloud Marketplace. Today the partnership is stronger than ever, and we’re excited for Google Cloud to be joining us as a Technology Integration Partner at .conf25.
Splunk Victoria Experience is Coming to Google Cloud
The big news this week is that Splunk Victoria Experience (VE) for Google Cloud is arriving, starting with a customer Alpha release in October. If you’re not familiar, Splunk Victoria Experience (VE) is the newest generation of the Splunk Cloud Platform architecture—designed to make Splunk faster, easier to manage, and more scalable so you can get data insights without worrying about the heavy lifting behind the scenes. This means Splunk customers running in Google Cloud get:
- Self-service installation of new apps directly from the UI—without any Splunk support intervention.
- Hands free upgrades and maintenance, because Splunk handles it all in the backend.
- Better performance and scale with a platform optimized to manage today’s volume of data ingestion without back-pressure.
- Faster access to new features because you are always running the latest SaaS version of Splunk Cloud Platform.
Rest assured, Google Cloud customers using Splunk Classic Edition will easily be able to make the switch without a learning curve. Think of it as moving from an old car to something modern: you still drive it the same way, but it’s smoother, more efficient, and ready for the future.
“Our customers have been asking for Victoria Experience on Google Cloud, and we’re pleased to deliver. It’s just one step in a larger roadmap of co-innovation, partnership commitment, and expanding what you can do with Splunk on Google Cloud,” says Jackie Smith, GVP of Cloud Platforms & ISV Partner Sales. General availability will come in a few months, but you can contact your account manager now to get involved in the Alpha release.
Opening New Doors with Google Cloud and Splunk
Beyond the immediate value that Google Cloud customers gain, VE is the springboard for faster, easier innovation and new capabilities that drive security and observability in the era of AI. It’s the foundation from which Splunk and Google Cloud will develop and release expanded capabilities, which is why every customer should plan their move to VE.
Our roadmap is designed to meet customers where they are—whether that’s the public Google Cloud, Google Cloud’s dedicated or regional specific environments, or a completely isolated network. Three key initiatives are already in motion:
- Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Air-Gapped: In some of the world’s most secure and remote environments, connectivity to the public internet simply isn’t an option. Available now, Splunk is the preferred observability and monitoring solution for GDC air-gapped deployments, giving customers real-time operational insights and security visibility without ever leaving their fully air-gapped environment.
- Google Cloud Dedicated: Data sovereignty is of paramount importance in European countries, particularly in France, where organizations may need to comply with ANSSI's enhanced trusted cloud requirements. (France's National Cybersecurity Agency). French organizations will soon be able to run Splunk inside a sovereign cloud, helping to ensure sensitive data stays within national borders and in compliance with the highest security standards, while still using Splunk's security and observability capabilities.
- Google Cloud KSA Region: Google Cloud has launched the first in-country datacenter for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Splunk Cloud will soon be available. That means KSA based organizations using Splunk can adhere to compliance requirements while getting an added performance boost by keeping Splunk close to their data.

The partnership momentum continues, creating more customer value and meeting customers where they are to create greater digital resilience. Take the next step with Splunk VE by asking your account manager to get you involved in the Alpha program.
