Strengthening Cybersecurity with the New NIST Practice Guide
Mike Stone, NCCoE Project Lead
Manish Jiandani, Solutions Marketing, Splunk
Financial institutions face a challenging environment in which cyber threats are growing in severity and sophistication. Splunk has been working with the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) on an IT asset management system for the financial sector that uses commercially-available products.
The reference architecture, in which Splunk serves as the Operational Intelligence platform, can help financial institutions reduce their risk by enhancing the visibility of assets, identifying vulnerable assets and enabling faster response to security threats.
Watch this ondemand webinar to learn more about the cybersecurity project including:
- The approach, the architecture, and how it can help financial institutions to improve their ability to defend against cyber threats
- How NIST leveraged Splunk Enterprise to provide key analytic and visualization capabilities in the architecture, and how they integrated Splunk with other tools such as Snort, Bro, BelManage, and CA ITAM
- 30mins Cybersecurity Project Overview & Demo of Reference Architecture
- 15mins Splunk Key Capabilities
- 15mins Live Q&A
