Web Technical Analyst Intern (Summer 2021)

Role:

Splunk Marketing Web Technology Team is looking for a talented techno functional analyst Intern to join them for fall 2020. Our Interns are given challenging projects over the work term, and are provided with a meaningful experience with high expectations for performance. If you want to interact with technical & non-technical teams to craft the backlog and drive the technical/functional requirements to define splunk’s website vision , this is the opportunity for you! 

This team is responsible for managing splunk.com,  various other marketing web properties and few internal portals. You will work directly with the brightest technical minds in the business as we build the intuitive, rich and responsive web sites/properties. 

Responsibilities:

As a Web Technical Analyst Intern you will be responsible for …

  • Responsible for creation of user stories, crafts teh backlog for the sites and drives functional requirements of the effort. 
  • Builds and maintains Agile (Scrum / Sprint) team backlog, with input from various stakeholder teams ( Web Marketing, Analytics, Digital, UX and IT teams) 
  • Collaborates with Solution Architect/Engineering to assist with decision-making and sequencing of the technical infrastructures that will host the new business functionality
  • Ability to collaborate with various groups and drive projects forward
  • Reviews and prioritizes Agile Team backlog for Iteration (Sprint) Planning

Requirements:

  • Experience with Agile backlog/project/collaboration platform/management tools.
  • Strong requirements elicitation, and ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences.
  • Analytical skills with demonstrated ability to identify/analyze/synthesize product use data.

Education:

  • Actively pursuing Bachelor's or Master’s Degree
