Splunk is a dynamic, fast-paced and high-growth company, and we are looking for an ambitious and experienced Treasury professional to join our team. Treasury Operations has an impact across the company, and you have an opportunity to help build Splunk’s global treasury infrastructure to promote efficiency and scale. You will be asked to develop and implement innovative solutions for our complex organization and deliver data-driven, insightful reporting that tracks performance and provides meaningful information to management. A successful candidate will have the ability to balance competing priorities, an attention to detail, and a growth mindset. Knowledge of Treasury systems, process flows, and control structure are critical skill sets to transform the treasury roadmap into reality. Because this role will be heavily involved in key initiatives such as in-house banking, intercompany payment netting and global cash visibility, influence and change management will play an important part in this journey. Communication and collaboration are essential because our team regularly interfaces with cross functional business partners to execute on both the day-to-day activities and the long-term projects. This position reports to the Treasury Director.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, update and monitor Treasury operational policies; manage Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for Treasury operations and support internal and external audit requirements
• Implement best practices and improve automation of key processes within Treasury, work with key stakeholders in instituting process improvements
• Manage global banking projects and global banking relationship
• Oversee efficient global cash management; manage liquidity and funding requirements for all entities
• Manage investment of excess cash and determine short-term and long-term investment options; manage external investment managers, monitor portfolio performance, risk and compliance
• Formulate and execute hedging strategies to manage foreign exchange and interest rate risks
• Assist with capital market decisions as well as transactions, including the efficient return of capital to shareholders, determining optimal capital structure, securing new funding/capital for strategic initiatives
• Other responsibilities include assisting corporate insurance annual renewal, mergers & acquisitions due diligence, post mergers & acquisitions integration and other ad hoc projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Economics or related discipline; MBA and/ or CTP is a plus
• 10+ years corporate treasury experience
• Acute attention to details; strong business judgement and autonomy
• A ‘hands-on’ team player who is comfortable working on detailed transactions on an independent basis and coordinating input from others
• Ability to multi-task, deal with ambiguity and work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment with commitment to deliver under tight deadlines
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, gain consensus among various teams, and drive initiatives to completion effectively
• Intellectual curiosity to seek knowledge and problem solve independently with minimal direct supervision
• Highly effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
