This position plays a significant role in translating both English-Japanese and Japanese-English helping drive sales marketing/communication metrics. This individual has experience in translation, writing skill in Japanese, and communication marketing skills; thrives in driven environments and team settings; demonstrates the ability to acquire new business; and is an expert in building rapport and trust with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Read or listen to material in one language, ascertains understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and converts it into a second language, making sure to preserve the original meaning
- Translate media contents (video, webinar, etc)
- Interpreting oral conversation between internal stakeholders and external customers
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other colleagues in order to understand specialized concepts and translate them appropriately
- Translate a variety of business documents including sales & marketing materials, technical documents, research reports, educational, and legal materials
- Identify key performance indicators and consistently meet or exceed expectations

Required Education And Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, five plus years of related experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
