Role

As a member of the Global Support Operations team at Splunk, you will work cross-functionally to implement talent development programs and initiatives for a global technical Customer Support team. We are looking for a Training & Enablement Specialist to support the execution of learning and development programs, assist with human capital initiatives, and work to improve the quality and productivity of Support training. The Training & Enablement Specialist will be self-disciplined, organized, and pays attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.

This role can be done remotely, however you should be able to work U.S. hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper training operations of the organization
• Identify training and development needs within the Support organization, and provide recommendations for improvements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate learning and development gaps and needs with the goal of creating high-quality training content for technical and functional groups
• Design and maintain learning and enablement tracks utilizing multiple learning management platforms
• Work in a team to develop and produce training content, including interactive eLearning, onsite, and blended learning solutions
• Support the implementation of various talent development programs and initiatives
• Develop, implement, and conduct learning and development initiatives for technical/functional teams within the Support organization

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience in learning and development, talent management, human resources, or a related field
• Strong presentation and project management skills
• Experience with and understanding of learning and development concepts and best practices, including adult learning principles
• Experience facilitating cross-functional meetings
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Ability to manage complex requirements and conflicting priorities
• Ability to build positive relationships internally and externally, in-person and virtually
• Negotiation, mediation, and conflict management skills
• Thrives on working under pressure in a dynamic environment and stays flexible through organizational growth and change
• Strong communication skills with business customers through multiple channels including email, phone, Zoom, Skype, Slack etc.
• Proven ability to demonstrate technical and non-technical concepts to multiple audiences
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud is a plus
