In this management role you will be a hands-on combo coach/player in a team of highly technical product and technology experts. You and your team will engage with customers and partners to deliver advanced technical integrations and capabilities. You will build strategic customer success through early-stage product innovation, with an eye towards influencing the company roadmap. You will attempt novel use cases and, when successful, work across the organization to enable a repeatable sales practices and/or feedback into new product development. You will lead facilitation of field and partner enablement during new product introductions and help ensure alignment of execution of a use case or solution.
We are looking for an exceptional leader for a team of individual contributors operating autonomously inside organizations to implement beta and early release software and ensure proper feedback on product usage to Splunk Product Management and Engineering. You should be excellent at communicating at an executive level as a trusted advisor, as well as executing on a deep technical level with IT professionals in multiple roles – in IT Operations, Application Development, Business Analytics, and more. You will also engage directly with Sales and Sales Leadership to provide support for customer-facing activities across Splunk solutions for IT Markets. You will challenge and mentor the existing team to drive peak performance, and coach new hires as needed to ensure they have the skills and capabilities to succeed.
