Staff Augmentation Partner Manager - Public Sector

We're looking for a Staff Augmentation Partner Manager – Public Sector who will be responsible for the oversight of Services Partners providing fulfillment of staff augmentation services for the Splunk Public Sector. You will be responsible for fostering strong partner relationships with our current partner community, process improvement and evolving staff augmentation fulfillment requirements based on changing business demands. This individual will also focus on ensuring proper capacity planning needed for a strong Splunk Partner consultant ecosystem to fulfill a growing pipeline of services opportunities as well as retaining and redeployment of current and future Partner consultants. This role will work in collaboration with professionals in a number of service functions and will provide consulting on partner solutions, management of staff augmentation fulfillment lifecycle (review of technical and logistical requirements, vetting criteria, renewal or redeployment management, etc.), establishing partner consultant training plans, and leading through escalation management.

Success in this role will be determined by the individual’s ability to identify, report and manage the fulfillment of all open staff augmentation opportunities, serve as the subject matter expert to services partners and the internal Splunk PS delivery on staffing progress while also building and growing a robust pipeline of Splunk Partner expertise to proactively plan for the growing business needs and demand.


  • Ability to foster working relationships with services companies as well as partnering with Splunk’s Professional Services to deliver enterprise software deployment projects
  • Recruit, identify and screen potential consulting partners and their respective candidates in order to fulfill geographic and domain needs
  • Ability to articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of the Splunk brand and its products
  • Influence our partner community to develop and build a thriving business around Splunk services
  • Lead the development of the go to market plan to identify, develop and define key focus accounts, to further grow our partner ecosystem
  • Develop and provide KPI metrics of partner coverage, capabilities, and performance to deliver services based on demand
  • Understand and interpret the needs of the partner and of Splunk for a mutually beneficial relationship
  • Be primary point of contact for partners and Splunk Professional Services escalated issues with regards to partner program
  • Ability to understand and familiarize yourself with Splunk and other required technologies at a high level


  • 5+ years’ experience in Professional Services roles for enterprise IT software
  • Experience with contract management and negotiation
  • Effective and clear communication with services partners, channel, and Professional Services Managers
  • Well organized with a healthy sense of urgency. Ability to meet SLAs and aggressive deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and self-educating, yet willing and able to work collaboratively with partner community and fellow Splunkers
  • Able to analyze, develop and deploy internal processes
  • Travel required: 30%-50%
  • Bachelor's degree is requested but not required
