Reporting to the Flex Sourcing lead you shall use the skills and experiences that you have collected so far in your educational and/or professional journey to contribute to a team that has rapidly grown over these last 24 month that constantly seeks to be better.

As a key contributor to the team your:

Role:

You will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally across the entire Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management team in support of our business partners in various functions on sourcing goods and services.

This role is excellent for a recent graduate with a 4 year degree majoring in Supply Chain Management (or something related) or somebody with at least 2 years related or unrelated work experience. Additionally, because this position is a hybrid role it offers you the flexibility and benefits of being able to work two days per week remotely.

The successful candidate shall be exposed to all things Sourcing and Procurement across Product, Technology, Marketing, Events, Professional Service, Employee Benefits and so on with mentoring, guidance and training provided to shape you as a future leader at Splunk.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Purchase Requisitions using established Sourcing methods
  • Perform financial analysis and present Scorecards to support outcomes.
  • Prepare and present risk profiles.
  • Review contractual documentation and non-contractual documents
  • Support Splunk's processes and policies.
  • Become a person of many hats; negotiator, actor, analyst, mediator, project manager etc.
  • Build relationships with the Category Managers and the wider Global Spend Management team.
  • Learn to work cross-functionally on sourcing related initiatives.
  • Serve our business partners to do their best work in a timely manner whilst protecting Splunk’s customers, reputation, operations, legal and financial risk
  • Contribute to savings and non-financial targets for the sourcing portfolio

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Minimum 2 years work experience and/or:
  • 4 Year Degree in Supply Chain Management (or directly related)
  • Excel or Google Sheets

Note:

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $40.38 - 55.53 per hour

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $36.92 - 50.77 per hour

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $33.46 - 46.01 per hour

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation, and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
