Global Shared ServiceチームのSolutions Engineerポジションでは主に通常のSolutions Engineerと同様の業務をアカウントベースではなく、リクエストベースで、デモやPoCなどのシングルタスクとしてサービスを提供していただきます。主に弊社の新規のお客様などのNew Named Accountのお客様のリクエストベースで担当していただきます。リクエストは弊社の営業部隊(Account Manager)から新規顧客や問い合わせがあった新規顧客からのリクエストが入り、順にデモセッションやPoCを行っていただきます。

若手SEを中心とし、これからIT業界のSolutions Engineerとして成長されたい方やSEとしての経験値を増やされたい方におすすめのポジションです。こちらのチームは若手SEの育成の為、Global Shared Serviceチーム立ち上げから3年経過し比較的新しいチームとなっております。

Solutions Engineerのご出身者のみならず、Technical Support EngineerやSoftware Engineerなど技術的なエンジニアのご出身の方でこれからSEにキャリアシフトされてい方も大歓迎です。
We are seeking a special pre-sales engineer to join our team in Tokyo Japan as a Solutions Engineer. In addition to requisite passion, skills and experience, you will have a measurable track record in building and managing successful organizations. As a member of our growing team, you will play a key role driving a significant share of revenue for Splunk. 


  • リクエストベースで販売プロセスの技術評価段階を積極的に推進・主導する責任を負い、当社製品・サービスの主要な技術アドバイザー・支持者として販売/チャネルチームと連携して業務に取り組む。
  • また、プレゼンテーション、デモンストレーション、テクニカルサービスエンゲージメントの経験や、顧客の技術者、経営者層に向けて当社製品を紹介・販売する能力も期待される。
  • 当社の技術、機能、ソリューション、アプリケーションに関する顧客からの技術的な質問に答え、ビジネスユーザーと技術ユーザーの両方に対して当社の技術と製品の位置付けを明確に説明する。
  • 営業プロセスの全段階において、担当顧客に関するあらゆる技術的な問題を特定し、顧客の満足度を高める。
  • 販売サイクルを通じて、顧客の技術スタッフ、リーダー、経営陣と強い関係を築き、維持する。
  • ウェブベースのコンテンツを開発・拡大し、マーケティングや営業と協力して、サービスの価値提案、資料、販売方法を改善する。
  • オンサイト、ウェビナーセッションによるリモート、カンファレンスや展示会などのフィールドイベントにおいて、当社の製品とサービスを顧客にデモンストレーションする。

  • Responsible for actively driving and leading the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in partnership with the sales/channels Team as the key technical advisor and advocate for our products and services
  • You also would be expected to have experience presenting, demonstrating and handling technical sales engagements as well as being able to present and sell our product to our customer’s technical and executive audience
  • Answer technical questions from customer's regarding Splunk technology, features, solutions, applications as well as articulate Splunk technology and product positioning to both business and technical users
  • Identify all technical issues of your assigned accounts to assure complete customer happiness through all stages of the sales process
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with our customer's technical staff, leaders and management
  • Develop and expand our web based content and work with marketing and sales to refine our service value proposition, literature as well as sales approach
  • Demonstrate Splunk products and services to customers on site, remotely via webinar sessions, and at field events such as conferences and trade shows
入社して3ヶ月間は E-Learning、 SEインストラクターによる直接のトレーニング (オンライン) Splunk Educationコースの受講 (8〜9コース 半日× 3) をみっちりご準備しております。またメンター制度も導入している為、先輩のミーティングに同行しシャドイングをしていただいたり、実際に直接アドバイスを差し上げるなどの直接の指導もしております。デモも直接入社当初から触れるので技術環境にいち早く慣れていただきやすいです。

  • 3年以上のソリューションズエンジニア/プリセールス/セールスエンジニアリングの経験
    Solutions Engineerのご出身者のみならず、Technical Support EngineerやSoftware Engineerなど技術的なエンジニアのご出身の方でこれからSEにキャリアシフトされたい方も大歓迎です。
  • 強いエグゼクティブ・プレゼンスと洗練性

  • ネイティブレベルの日本語コミュニケーション能力。
  • ビジネスレベルの英語力(資料や製品説明などのマテリアルが本社からのものとなりますので、英語で理解しローカライズできる力が求められます。)


  • Appropriate 3+ years Solutions Engineer/Pre-sales/Sales Engineering experience to large enterprises
  • Strong executive presence and polish
  • Extraordinary interpersonal, written and presentation skills
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-growing, rapidly changing environment
  • Able to work independently and remotely from other members of your team and corporate
  • Strong record of success of overachieving targets
  • Validated knowledge of machine data logging and analytics techniques processes and tools
  • Foundational knowledge of the Big Data marketplace or the Security marketplace
  • Native level Japanese Communication. Business English
