Would you like the opportunity to work at a fast-growing company that is changing the way that information is used to support business decisions? You will have the responsibility of actively driving and leading the technology evaluation stage of the sales cycle. Working in conjunction with the global sales leader for Global Service Provider (SP) business as an advisor. Additionally, you will position Splunk's technology and solutions to both business and technical users. You will identify all technical issues of your assigned accounts to assure complete client happiness throughout the sales process, and establish positive relationships with your client's technical staff
Splunk is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our Global Service Provider (SP) Sales Team, where you will be the key technical resource for our relationships into the top Global Outsourcers. This is not your traditional sales engineering role where you go from demo to POC and repeat the process. Working closely with our Global Sales executives to align Splunk’s capabilities to drive business outcomes for our partners’ use of Splunk solutions, both internally (ie. The CIO is the customer) and as part of their service offerings (Splunk embedded in an offering the partner sells to an end customer).
The responsibilities and activities for this role include: evangelizing Splunk products; providing technical product and deep architectural expertise; supporting, staffing, and speaking at partner events; providing presentations at the C-level; delivering ongoing communication of the latest Splunk capabilities and partner enablement; building groundbreaking prototypes to support your account business plans, and drive additional “Design in” adoption.
A deep understanding of the service provider (MSP/MSSP/Outsourcer) ecosystem is highly preferred. You’ll need to travel and engage in on-site work with your accounts when required. You will need to be or quickly become, a Splunk expert so our partners can be successful with Splunk products.
