About the Role

Be part of a full stack team whose mission is to build turnkey Infrastructure Monitoring solutions for the Observability platform customers. You will be responsible for building key “out of the box products” for our customers, viz. Dashboards, Navigators, Alerts and Detectors. These products enable our customers faster time to value and in-turn grow our business. You will also contribute to extend the backend and frontend platform code to build and maintain the Infrastructure Monitoring solutions. 

Responsibilities

  • Research, design and implement pre-configured monitoring solutions for our customers.
  • Work closely with the Data Ingest team to build out Detectors, Charts, Dashboards, and other visual representations of the monitoring data
  • Collaborate and consult with product management, sales, designers, and other customer facing team members understand the solutions our customers need and bring them to life
  • Extend and expand the capabilities of the Infrastructure Monitoring platform through code, configuration, and reusable customization
  • Identify needed additions to the Infrastructure Monitoring platform and work closely with the platform team to have them implemented
  • Design and implement the user interface and backend services for the Infrastructure Monitoring pillar of the Splunk Observability Cloud

Requirements

  • Experience working closely with product management on customer facing solutions
  • Experience with Java and RESTful Web services (Jersey, Spring)
  • Experience in design and developing rich applications with JavaScript/HTML/CSS
  • Aware of but not reliant on object oriented and component-based JavaScript Frameworks (React, Angular, Ember, Bootstrap, etc.)
