Your role in the team:
We are looking for highly motivated students to join our Observability GDI team. We develop and continuously improve world-class solutions to produce, collect, and send telemetry data (think spans, metrics, and logs) in a standardized, open and friction-free manner. We co-created the CNCF OpenTelemetry, an exciting new observability ecosystem backed by many leading monitoring companies, with Splunk as a top contributor. We are confident that OpenTelemetry will become the industry standard for observability. As an intern, you will help us implement auto-instrumentation, and you will have the opportunity to enjoy our dynamic startup environment. You will gain invaluable work experience with a leader in "Big Data", the hottest software market today.
Requirements:
- You are at university studying computer science, mathematics, or a similar technical field and will continue your studies after your internship to get your degree
- You have good knowledge of programming in Java technologies
- You are willing to learn many new frameworks and new technologies
- You are willing to achieve goals set for you at the beginning of the internship by your mentor
- You bring strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- You bring enthusiasm for solving interesting problems to the team
