Role:
We are looking for highly motivated, established software engineers to join our full stack team, whose mission is to create a user experience for the leading Observability platform created by the combination of SignalFx and Splunk. You will contribute to the backend services to create and maintain the Infrastructure Monitoring and Metrics pillar of the Observability Suite at Splunk.

Responsibilities:
- Acquire and maintain E2E ownership of selected backend services
- Identify scalability limitations and propose architectural improvements
- Work across different teams and Product Management on gap and requirements analysis
- Design and implement application features by contributing to our RESTful backend services
Requirements:
- Experience in modern Java programming
- Experience in data streaming, cloud computing, microservice architectures and REST APIs
- Proven track of record in solving performance and scalability problems
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript programming and front-end technologies
- Typically a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or 4 years with a Master’s degree in CS/Engineering, or equivalent practical working experience
