Are you interested in being part of building the next-generation and highly-scaled industry-leading data platform for machine data?

Splunk Data Platform is seeking a versatile SDK Software Engineer with Fullstack development skills to join our App Development Framework team and play a crucial role in ensuring the success of Splunk's Enterprise App ecosystem. The Splunk Enterprise SDKs form the foundation of our app development toolset and are critical for creating Splunk Apps and the seamless integration of Splunk Enterprise/Cloud solutions.

As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work with innovative technology and directly impact the quality of experiences for our customers. We give our engineers an environment where they can contribute from day one while providing learning and growth opportunities. You'll learn how our entire stack works, from data ingestion and storage to searching, reporting, and building dashboards.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain SDK features, empowering developers to build outstanding applications and integrations.
  • Actively engage with the open-source community, contributing to improving and developing Enterprise SDKs.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancements, optimizations, and new features based on user feedback and emerging industry trends.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to address and resolve SDK-related inquiries, issues, and enhancement requests.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of related experience with a technical Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent practical experience, or 3 years and a technical Master’s degree; or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficient in multiple programming languages like Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, etc.
  • Enthusiastic about crafting exceptional SDKs for the best developer experience.
  • Skilled in working with well-designed Restful APIs.
  • Quick learner when it comes to adopting new technologies.
  • Active involvement in open-source projects is a plus.
  • Familiar with major Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledgeable in creating automated and maintainable software.
  • Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger or any query language like SQL, Splunk SPL, etc., is a plus.
  • Comfortable collaborating with various teams and roles to understand and meet requirements.

Base Pay Range

Poland

Base Pay: PLN 168,000.00 - 231,000.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
