Role:

Are you an accomplished, forward-thinking writer who can present Splunk's design leadership to a global audience? Come join us and become the voice of Splunk design. In this role, you will work with the Splunk user experience team to distill and highlight Splunk design practices and innovation to inform and inspire readers across the software industry.

This opportunity allows you to research, craft and publish compelling content that explains Splunk's approach to design and user research in a range of mediums, such as blog posts, white papers, video, and presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write, and maintain Splunk design blogs, papers, multimedia, and presentations.
  • Define the presence of Splunk UX in the industry.
  • Apply your expertise in design trends, methods, and information development to deliver high-quality web content in a variety of media.
  • Digest complex conceptual and technical information and communicate it in a readable, concise, and accurate manner to a varied and highly informed audience.
  • Establish the concepts, framework, and processes that you will use to define the Splunk design presence.

Requirements:

  • You have ample experience researching, writing, and publishing engaging content specifically about design trends, innovations, and practices.
  • You demonstrate the ability to balance multiple, meaningful priorities in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.
  • You have an aptitude for cultivating a harmonious, high-energy, positive working environment that values creativity and innovation.
  • You can show diverse examples of published blogs and other material.

Education and experience:

Education: BA/BS degree in UX Design, Technical Communication, English, or a related technical discipline.
