Senior Front End Software Engineer to help us build the web performance platform for the next generation of web applications. As an engineer at Rigor, you will build tools to simplify monitoring and analyzing performance data for companies of all sizes. We deal with challenging problems at massive scale, so if that sparks your interest, we’d look to talk to you!


  • Having fun while being super passionate about your work

  • Developing in our existing technology stacks: JavaScript, React, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS
  • Inspiring, developing, coaching and mentoring other members of the UI dev team
  • Continually reassessing our UI architectural approach
  • Partnering internally with Customer Success, Sales, and Product to continuously improve our user interface
  • Analyzing your work in FullStory
  • Operating with a growth mindset, seeking new and innovative ways to improve your own skills

Our tech stack:

  • Application: Ruby on Rails, React
  • Database: Redis, MySQL, InfluxDB
  • Automation: Packer, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Capistrano
  • Infrastructure: AWS-backed (EC2, S3, RDS,SQS , CloudWatch, Route53)

Bonus points if you:

  • Have a web performance mindset and experience with key metrics and tools in the space
  • Have a solid understanding of Redux, Angular, Slim (or HAML), Storybook (or another component library), and Jest
  • Have experience building front-end interfaces using Ruby on Rails as a backend, with working knowledge of the Rails asset pipeline and / or webpack
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for managing projects to conclusion


  • Have 6+ years of B2B software engineering experience with the following technologies: JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML and CSS, with at least 3+ years of experience with React.
  • BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or related engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.  
  • Show successful achievement in a start-up (extremely fast-paced) environment
  • Possess excellent communication and writing skills
