As a Cloud Backend Engineer you will develop and own features for the Agent Manager service related mostly with delivering our servicer for cloud native customers. Your task will be splitted into developing Go-based backend covering whole development lifecycle phases but also basic cloud (AWS and Kubernetes) management and maintenance for our infrastructure. Engineers within our team are working on development of both UI and server components as well the CI/CD of the service. They will ensure that observability is built into the system, Service Level Objectives (SLO) are defined, monitored and met and that engineers are alerted when performance degrades. • Ensure test processes are automated and that a robust CI/CD system is developed alongside the service especially within cloud (AWS, Kubernetes) environment.
  • Identify and resolve pre-production system bottlenecks and production issues
  • Work on operational excellence and ensure the product is serviceable and code is maintainable
  • Once the project launches for the cloud customer (Q3/Q4 2024), we will need to provide on-call support spread across all team members.

  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • From the backend perspective coding experience in Go. If you have previous experience with C++ it will be a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with web application frameworks, especially React is a plus.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems in public cloud environments such as AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure and familiarity with the services available on these platforms.
  • Experience in developing CI/CD systems and test automation frameworks
  • Ability to document your work for the benefit of the team
  • Knowledge of REST or similar communication paradigms
