Splunk is seeking a strong leader to drive both the strategy and execution of the Splunk UI/Web Framework (consisting today of a suite of react libraries, frameworks, utilities, and tools) to enable both internal and external app teams to build applications faster and with better end-user consistency on the Splunk platform. In this role, you will be advocating for key technologies and functionalities, working with engineering to implement this vision, and rolling out these tools to empower developers to build better experiences for their end-users. Additionally, you will engage with developers and evangelists to build a strong frontend developer community with a focus on community contributions, feedback exchange, and growth.
You are organized, positive, creative, analytical, and focused on the customer and partners at all times. You know when to make decisions and when to ask questions. This is an execution-focused role: You maintain a strong long-term vision that aligns with the product strategy. At the same time, you are committed to improving the end-user experience at every step of the way.
Do you love building products that meet specific goals? In response to the accelerating pace of change in big data and analytics, Splunk is extending and opening access to its platform and encouraging participation by new partners in our ecosystem. A crucial part of this effort is the focus on a consistent end-user experience across all product offerings. We are seeking to provide a leading online developer experience with services and tools for developers to discover, access, integrate, and test what they need from Splunk to build new and innovative solutions for their customers.
