Position & Responsibilities: Excellent Opportunity!

We are growing our Splunk Payroll Team. We are looking for a Senior Payroll Tax Analyst to support the employment Payroll tax and unclaimed property for the Payroll Department.


This position will work directly with the Payroll team leaders to ensure proper treatment for payroll related taxes, including but not limited to: supporting the Payroll team with all employment tax research, employee inquiries, required adjustments, management of tax filings with third party payroll vendor, completion of reconciliations for all Payroll related tax filings, and manage tax registrations and address tax tracers with U.S. tax agencies.


Responsibilities will include driving process improvements related to employment tax across the Payroll department and Splunk


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree(s) in Accounting or 5+ years hands-on experience in a related field
  • 3+ years Payroll employment tax experience, preferably be a subject matter expert
  • Possess highly effective oral and written communication skills
  • Maintain a high level of ethics and integrity at all times
  • Demonstrate the ability to take ownership, initiative, attention to detail, and have a positive approach
  • Hands on experience using Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Possess the ability to showcase your deep knowledge and experience working with payroll vendors and platform technologies
  • Be a subject matter expert using SAP, ADP and Workday
