The Business Velocity & Transformation team is a creative, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial team within the Office of the CEO. You will work alongside other leaders and members of the team to drive sophisticated, cross-functional transformation efforts that position the company for continued high-growth. You will apply a consultative approach, technology industry experience, and process reengineering expertise to drive a portfolio of deep change in a fast-paced SaaS company. Your goal is to help shape Splunk's business capabilities and transformation strategies by processing, analyzing, and interpreting huge data sets.
Specifically, you will bring you extensive SaaS business acumen and data science/ analytics expertise to bear on our enterprise to analyze prioritized cross-functional, and/or structural, and/or organizational, and/or business process capabilities, understand or invent their past-baseline-future metrics, their speed and quality issues, bottlenecks, and non-value adds. You will leverage data to help us measure and analyze root causes. You will measure improvements to ensure we have established a controlled change - do customers adopt the change, what about other Splunkers? You will contribute to a world class business and data architecture. By streamlining and improving these underlying business capabilities and processes, you will be instrumental in transforming and positioning the company for continued high growth.
The ideal candidate for this role operates at the intersection of business, analytics, and design. You will apply operations research and statistical methods to identify opportunities to improve and mature business processes. Identifying the problem is only half the job; you also help design the solution and implement measurement systems to ensure changes "stick" and produce the desired outcomes.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.
Note: Bay Area location is preferred, but not a determining factor. Candidate can be located anywhere.
