The Role

Being a member of an EMEA high performing team, you are an experienced HR professional with a consultative, influencing approach, responsible for the development and delivery of integrated people solutions for a set of key client groups. You support management in the achievement of business objectives through providing direct consulting support and delivering programs in all areas of strategic human resources including compensation, performance management, talent acquisition, succession planning, organizational design, and employee engagement.

While the core focus of the role will be supporting our UK Go-To-Market organization, you will also have client groups in other parts of our growing EMEA region. In addition, you will work with our global People Team to support other functions with a regional presence, and collaborate to design, implement and deliver world-class programs and initiatives.     

You recognize that the role of the Sr. Business Partner - People means understanding the business imperatives of the organization and translating them into practical and elegant solutions that drive tangible results. While you will operate at a strategic level with senior leaders, you can move seamlessly to an operational mode and turn ideas into action. Some examples of specific areas of responsibility include:

  • Partnering with leaders to coach them on a range of activities, including: leadership capability, performance management, team effectiveness and organization design.
  • Utilizing people analytics and metrics to develop solutions that address gaps, capitalize on opportunities and inform the right business decisions.
  • Supporting organizational resilience by developing the capacity and readiness for change.
  • Acting as a change agent to support the company's growth.
  • Providing expert coaching and support on addressing performance concerns/issues with the client group.
  • Applying advanced knowledge of employment law, and exercising sound judgement to effectively resolve employment relations issues in partnership with leaders and legal team resources.
  • Supporting workforce planning and talent acquisition activities and initiatives to ensure that the short, medium and long-term needs of the business are met.
  • Advising on performance and quarterly rewards planning processes and compensation activities during the year.
  • Ensuring end-to-end HR service delivery by maintaining partnerships across all People functions.

  • You have expert knowledge of HR theories, practices and principles (including employment law) as normally obtained through the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or OD. Masters Degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrated experience coaching and influencing leaders at all levels, helping deliver strategic people initiatives to deliver specific business results. Experience supporting a Sales team in a rapidly growing software company would be ideal.

Travel Requirements and Demands:

Primary base is London. Ability to travel to other EMEA offices and to US Headquarters as needed.
