We are hiring a Senior Business Analyst to join Splunk’s Cloud Infrastructure & Operations, Strategy & Operations team. The team is passionate about delivering results for our organization through driving critical initiatives, implementing operational policies and procedures, and seeing opportunities for continuous improvements. The team collaborates closely with senior functional leaders within and outside of the organization.
You will lead teams in acquiring reporting requirements that will provide deep insights on our operations within our organization. Tasks include analyzing company data with Splunk, reporting out KPIs, and helping leaders interpret insights from our data. This will be vital to ensure operational leaders make data driven decisions on strategic programs.
In this role, you will assist in providing creative solutions to the global engineering organization that supports our Splunk Cloud customers on a 24/7 basis. You will gain insight into the strategic and operational issues which are top of mind for the operational leadership team within Splunk Cloud, and establish relationships with people within the organization.
Given the multi-dimensional nature of the role, we are seeking a Senior Business Associate who has a combination of strong quantitative skills, project management skills, interpersonal skills and a dedication to continuously learn. In addition, you demonstrate the ability to succeed in an unstructured, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!
- Supervise and report data that will be useable by all partners including individual teams to senior leadership
- Liaison between engineering management, product management, and support to acquire requirements for Splunk Dashboards & Reports
- Provide business analysis support for operational processes and KPIs in order to assist in data drive improvements that lead to improved customer experiences
- Identify, research & propose creative solutions to operational gaps across the organization
- Build cross-functional partnerships, internally and externally

- Strong analytical, planning, operational, and project management skills
- High aptitude to learn quickly
- Ability to thrive under pressure with appropriate attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and run deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
- Self-motivated to take ownership of projects and seek problems creatively
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact efficient across all levels
- Knowledge of enterprise software industry and personal interest in data-driven technologies
Education & Experience: Got it!
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or a related field; or work experience equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in an analyst role
- 2+ Years of experience using Splunk required
- Splunk certification (User, Poweruser, Admin, Architect) strongly preferred
